The “Centre de Cancérologie de la Porte de Saint-Cloud” places great emphasis on implementing any action that prevents the risk of infection, especially nosocomial infections.
Even though it is not always possible to avoid the transmission of such infections, it is absolutely possible to limit their frequency and gravity.
A nosocomial infection is one that is contracted within a healthcare establishment.
Generally speaking, if the infection appears in less than 48 hours after admission, then the infection was in incubation at the time of admission and was not contracted in the healthcare establishment. This is not, therefore, a nosocomial infection.

In addition to compliance with hygiene and sterilization precautions and control of the patient’s environment, CLIN’s policy has several established objectives:
As in all health establishments, this policy gives rise to indicators that you can consult.
The Center works in a network with the related supervision to update recommendations and share innovations.
