All the doctors and associates at the “Centre de Cancérologie de la Porte de Saint-Cloud” strive to ensure the best possible coordination with other health structures.
The aim of oncology networks is to promote pluridisciplinary treatments in their field of health and to ensure all patients have equal access to quality health care.
This corresponds to Item 29 in the French Cancer Plan.
With this in mind, the “Centre de Cancérologie de la Porte de Saint-Cloud” participates in several oncology networks:
The establishment has signed several partnership agreements with other health institutions, palliative, palliative care and home hospitalisation organisations, medical analysis laboratories, etc.
The French National Cancer Institute (INCA - L’Institut National du Cancer) was created by the Public Health Act of 9th August 2004 within the framework of the French Cancer Plan in order to ensure the continuing coordination of the national policy in the fight against cancer. Placed under the administrative supervision of government health and research ministers, it unites all those active in the fight against cancer in France.
The French League against Cancer, (La Ligue Contre le Cancer) is the leading body financing research in France. The best teams of researchers are selected to work on ambitious themes – initiatives for people suffering from cancer, prevention, screening, etc.
The French Society for Radiation Oncology, (SFRO - La Société Française de Radiothérapie Oncologique) is open to doctors, physicians and biologists whose main interest lies in oncology and radiotherapy. It brings together almost all currently practising French radiotherapists.
